As the head level designer my job was to create interesting levels, puzzles, and playtest them. I first designed each area to focus on each part of the broken sub. Area 1 focuses on the middle of the sub, needing to repair the hull. Area 2 is the end of the sub and the player needs to repair the propeller to progress. In area 3, the end of the sub pierced a massive cave where the player needs to repair the hull again. The game has tons of puzzles in each area. Not just to repair the hull nut to also get around the level. Opening new areas, finding lost crewmates and getting logs. In area 2 and 3 there is a monster fish that chases the player. As the game progresses it gets more scary and dark. Ending on level 3, a dark purple level with dangerous brine pools and devastating falls.

Echoes of the AbyssI was the lead level designer for this team. Designing and implementing anything from caves environments to puzzles. Echoes of the Abyss is a first person physics puzzle game set under water. you take on the roll of a deep sea diver stranded at the bottom of a trench after an explosion sends your vessel careening into the whirlpool. As the player you will tackle demanding puzzles and harrowing mechanics as you try to stabilize the wreck of your submarine and find what remains of your crew in the dark. Adventure through caves solving puzzles, finding your crew mates and saving the sub. Are you afraid of what's below the depths?
